Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a self-defense martial art and combat sport based on wrestling, grappling, ground fighting and submission holds. It focuses on the skill of taking a person to the ground, controlling your opponent by using your positioning and intelligence to force a submission via joint locks or chokeholds. This is a great discipline to get into as you can train for long periods with minimal self damage.
